Updated information related to the Transition Process and our Search for a New Rector
The CAT has been put to sleep.
Thank you all for your participation.
We exceeded our goal!
Latest Update 9/7/25:
The Transition Team met Tuesday to seek ways to condense and clarify the CAT. Yes, a quick visit to the CAT again, up from her nap. Two- and one-half hours in presentation and more than 50 pages—it’s a massive wad of information. So, the team is finding ways to clarify the findings, to highlight those most crucial, to reduce some of the statistical clutter. We should have that ready for you by next Sunday. We are also meeting Tuesday with Father Tom, the representative of the diocese, who is guiding us through this process. We will talk about the next steps, about Story Day and about moving to form the Parish Profile. We know you would like this to be fast and definitive, done right away. Boom, boom, boom. It's just not possible to move faster. It is a complex process required by the diocese and by our own need for careful planning. We are moving as quickly as we can.

Building a church profile
A slide deck presentation explaining all the necessary parts that the transition team will work on in order to build a church profile so that potential candidates can get to know more about our Church.
community demographics
Part of the transition process is to analyze the demographics of the community around our church. Since we have active parishioners that come from areas like Simi Valley and Santa Clarita, we have looked at the demographics of the population in a radius of 15 miles around the church. This demographic report is provided by Mission Insite, an online demographic mapping database that helps organizations better understand their donors, prospects, members, volunteers and community. MissionInsite reveals insights about the community around us, so we can move from data to making decisions. To get an overview of the community demographics click on the link below.
