Updated information related to the Transition Process and
our Search for a New Rector
transition update 2/1/26
During Rev. Lipscomb's sermon last Sunday, he reminded us of some important things to reflect on our wonderful congregation during this transition time. 1. Accept the challenge and embrace the change. 2. Keep positive intentions of others and stay positive. 3. Get involved. Think of a way you can contribute to the church. WOW! What a tall order! But without hesitation, our congregation has overcome so much in our history, that we should be confident of our ability to overcome and reach bigger heights. "Trust the process" are words that we should remember. Remember, storyday@2saints.org has many examples of the reasons we love and are so devoted to St. Andrew and St. Charles.
The Transition Team will meet this month to start the creation of our profile. This is a huge undertaking and we encourage you to reach out and assist with this component. The importance of our profile is critical for our rector search and the team could use some help. If you would like to assist the Transition Team, please contact Gabby Portaluppi (gabbyport1@gmail.com) or Monica Ward (morthuber@socal.rr.com).

Building a church profile
A slide deck presentation explaining all the necessary parts that the transition team will work on in order to build a church profile so that potential candidates can get to know more about our Church.
community demographics
Part of the transition process is to analyze the demographics of the community around our church. Since we have active parishioners that come from areas like Simi Valley and Santa Clarita, we have looked at the demographics of the population in a radius of 15 miles around the church. This demographic report is provided by Mission Insite, an online demographic mapping database that helps organizations better understand their donors, prospects, members, volunteers and community. MissionInsite reveals insights about the community around us, so we can move from data to making decisions. To get an overview of the community demographics click on the link below.
