LENTEN EDUCATION SERIES:
Wednesday evenings, Father Greg is conducting a series on Dante’s Inferno, the first part of Dante Alighieri's 14th-century epic poem "The Divine Comedy." Many scholars believe that this is the greatest single work of poetry ever written. Don’t be intimidated, however; the story is as exciting and fresh today as it was in the 14th century. Monsters, adventure, politics, sex, love, relationships, good and evil - this story has it all. No need to read the book prior to the lecture, just join us in the Parish Hall at 7:00 p.m. for an hour of discussion. You’ll have a hell of a good time!
(If you want to purchase the book, the Penguin Classics
version is recommended)
